A Yellow Sky and Green Stars

For his entire life,
the boy was sad.
He was a good student
and he got all A’s,
but he was sad.

One day,
he met a fellow
who had a curious look
and offered the boy
a pill of white,
white as snow.

The boy was curious
and said yes.
Gulping down the pill,
he felt funny,
and then laid down,
to see the stars of day.

The sky was {/}yellow{/}
and the stars were *<*green*>*
The clouds were (!)purple(!)
and the cows were ^-pink-^

And for the first time,
the boy felt a feeling,
