Okay, so as you may know, I write lots of stories, poems, rants, etc. When you read it, you get a finished product, free of typos {hopefully} and vaguely interesting. But, there is a crap ton of problems that all writers have to face when producing a piece of fine and exquisite literature *very snobby expression*.
Writer’s block. You hear about it. Then you’re just like, “Ha, yeah right. *nasal tone* As if anyone could actually not have ideas. How do you even do that? On another note, TRUMP 2016!”
But no, writers block is real, and very hard to get over. Luckily, I’ve never had a severe case that lasts months, or maybe even years. Nah, my cases of writer’s block are a little something like this, “Ummmmmmm. How about… no, I just did that. Maybe this… what! Don’t do that, that idea’s trash. ARGGGGGGGGGGGGG *flips table*” Ha, just kidding. About flipping the table. Not the other parts. Eventually, I do something REALLY stupid and from that have a flash of inspiration.
Next is formatting. If you’ve ever used Microsoft Word, then you’ll know what I’m talking about. It seems that Microsoft is bent on making your life as hard as possible. Just the transferring of files and the transition of format. It’s so frustrating! An example is when I copy past my writing into my blog web client, the tabs don’t transfer correctly, and instead turn into spaces. I feel like this is discriminating against my “backspace” key because of its over use.
“WE NEED TO FREE THE BACKSPACE KEY! IT HAS BEEN DISCRIMINATED SINCE THE BEGINNING OF TIME!”
Anyways, now that I’ve educated you in the struggles of the writer, hopefully you won’t go around saying “Writing is sooo easy! I can’t believe people have trouble with this!” If you do happen so utter those words, I will personally track you down and END YOU. Hee hee! Buh Bye!
P.S – I’M WATCHING.
